Chris Cox Chris Cox is based out of Texas and it shows in his southern appeal. His first musical offerings were forged in the band “La La Land’s” years of club dates around Texas in the early 90’s. His next delivery was more in the Texas swamp hard rock section of the catalogue. Chris with his new band “Tin Henry” delivered the goods to the masses not just Texas from 1993-2005. Their VIDEO playing in blockbuster video stores across the United States stayed in rotation for 30 days right behind the top videos from MTV and VH1 at the time. Chris searching for something new rolled out something old in 2006. Childhood friends put back together jam band “Automatic” playing shows to Biker crowds along with his band mates the Discovery Channel biker build off winners the Martin Brothers.
Mark Allan Atwood Born in Ennis, TX, the son of a crazy race car driver who listened to old school country and a sweet-voiced transplant from California who helped pay her way through college as the vocalist for a 50’s rock n’ roll outfit and did solo performances with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Mark Allan came by both his insanity and musical talents honestly. At 18, when that age would still get you into Texas bars legally, he began playing the singer/songwriter hangouts on Lower Greenville Ave. in Dallas, learning from the amazing original artists of that place in time and enjoying a host of legendary venues.
Tin Henry Tin Henry was born in 1994 by Brad Dunn, Chris Cox, Tony Taylor and Danny Kinsey. The founding members all had success in other bands around Dallas before Tin Henry and created what was thought to be somewhat of a mutated super group. Tin Henry accomplished many things in its 15+ year run. They made CD’s, several live appearances and a video that aired worldwide. Most of all they shared great times.
